Come Closer is an invitation. It’s an invitation for Christians and churches to come closer to one another and to the deep needs that exist in our community. We can do more together than we can alone.

Will you come closer?

There are approximately 800 people a day being held in our local County Detention Center. Almost all will be released back into the Spartanburg community within a relatively short period of time. Due to circumstances in their lives and the time they have available, many are turning to God for help, answers, and direction. You can help them connect the pieces by providing Bible and discipleship materials. For under $10.00, you can provide a large-print Bible and a discipleship book for an inmate. Our aim is to provide 500 of each. Click below to help lead an inmate to the Lord and begin to learn how to build a new life centered on Jesus.
